McKayla Rose Maroney retired from artistic gymnastics and became a performer. She competed in 2012 Summer Olympics as part of The American Women's Gymnastics team, often referred to by the name of Fierce Five. At the Olympics she was awarded a silver medal for herself as well as a gold medal for the team. Early life.
