Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and won via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill, and she was able to end her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the 2nd round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last bout for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for an TKO victory in the second round. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
